Have you acevpn folks seen the latest Netflix announcement about cracking down on "unlock services" and VPN users connecting to US netflix?

If so, is your DNS service something that's going to go away or will you attempt to counteract it?

Heard that Netflix is cracking down? We rely pretty heavily on unlock TV for USA netflix and want to know if we'll be losing this capability.

We are monitoring the situation. We will take action as needed based on the outcome. As of now Netflix is available on both our VPN and Smart DNS service.

We have lost access to Netflix on our apple tv, as of last Friday (22 January). So far we have:

- waited to see if there would be a new DNS offered for UnblockTV when the work week resumed
- reset our IP address on AceVPN, just in case
- reset the Apple TV
- checked for updates on the apple tv
- logged out & back in to Netflix
- tried all available AceVPN DNS servers

All we see is "This title is not available to watch instantly. Please try another title."

Netflix is still available on our computers with the VPN turned on - it's only through the Apple TV that we have lost access.

Is your iTunes location set to US? Is DNS setup on router or Apple TV directly?

Error doesn't seem related to Netflix blocking VPN and Smart DNS. If related you would see Unblocker or Proxy error

So it appears that this has happened to me already.

I'm receiving an unblocker/proxy message on Netflix on my Xbox one as well as my Win10 PC when trying to access Netflix.

Nothing has changed on my router config and it's confirmed green when testing unblocktv.

HELP!

Please email support (at) acevpn.com referring this thread. We have few workarounds and also have a fix to test.

Yes, our location is set to US. The DNS is set on the Apple TV.

It stopped working literally in the middle of a episode of M.A.S.H. and has not worked again.

Netflix works on all of our other devices using regular VPN, and our apple TV works for everything else, so I don't believe it is a connection issue or an account issue with Netflix.
