I sadly found out that the DD-WRT v24-sp2 (11/21/10) doesn't include OPENVPN for my TP-LINK router WR941ND v. 3.5. Unfortunately I only have this router available.

I tried to configure a PPTP connection with no luck. Can anybody help me with the AceVPN configuration for my router?

Thanks!

OpenVPN is included only in VPN and Big build. If you are planning to run VPN on your router its recommended to get a router that can run OpenVPN.

OK, but at least there must be a way to setup a PPTT VPN. I've tried it but maybe I'm missing something... Besides, I've found this post which I understand would solve my problem with OpenVPN, but I don't have the technical knowledge to use this information.

I really need a for dummies guide to be followed ste by step...

I'd like to watch TV programs with my ROKU device, this is the only reason why I'm trying Acevpn. Fortunately I only subscribed for one month at the moment, But I'd really like to use their service on a regular basis.

Can you help?

Your router has 4MB flash. No go with OpenVPN.

For PPTP / L2TP try something similar to this screenshot. This works even on Tomato firmware.

Okay I got a list of IP's from support. I followed the instructions you posted but once I save and go to acevpn.com it can still see my real IP. What am I doing wrong? Do you need more information?
